Palm Beach Sees Record 6.1 Million Visitors in First Half of 2026
Discover The Palm Beaches (DTPB), the destination marketing organisation for Palm Beach County, has announced that The Palm Beaches welcomed a record-breaking 6.09 million visitors during the first half of 2026, a 6.4% increase over the same time period last year.

Growth from the UK was particularly strong, with visitation increasing by 21.8% to 29,000 visitors, compared with 23,800 during the first half of 2025. The UK remains The Palm Beaches’ third-largest international market and second-largest overseas market, highlighting the destination’s continued appeal among British travellers.

Tourism remains one of The Palm Beaches' leading industries, generating an annual economic impact of approximately $11.6 billion and supporting nearly 95,000 local jobs. This new visitation record further reinforces The Palm Beaches' position as a premier travel destination known for its 47 miles of pristine beaches, collection of 39 vibrant cities and towns, rich cultural offerings, and world-class hospitality.
“Welcoming more than six million visitors in the first half of 2026 is a tremendous milestone and another testament to the enduring strength of The Palm Beaches as ‘Florida's Most Stylish Vacation Destination’," said Milton Segarra, CDME, president and CEO of DTPB. “We are particularly encouraged by the continued growth from the UK, with visitation rising by almost 22% year-on-year. As one of our most important international markets, this growth demonstrates the strong appetite among British travellers for the breadth of experiences The Palm Beaches have to offer.”
“This success reflects the collective efforts of our Discover The Palm Beaches team, and our partners across the destination, including the Palm Beach County Tourist Development Council, our sister agencies the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County, the Palm Beach County Sports Commission, and the Palm Beach County Film and Television Commission, as well as the Palm Beach County Convention Center, the Palm Beach County Department of Environmental Resources Management, and our many tourism stakeholders,” emphasised Segarra. “Through Discover’s strategic sales and marketing efforts, we continue to strengthen the tourism economy for the benefit of the entire Community.”
