British Airways has announced a number of changes to its Middle East route operations, given the ongoing uncertainty in the region. These changes include reduced frequencies and delayed route restarts. The airline now plans to restart its Heathrow to Bahrain service from March 28, 2027 and its Heathrow to Abu Dhabi service from January 10, 2027. Aer Lingus has posted an operating loss of €34m for the first half of 2026, compared to an operating profit of €80m for the same period last year. The operating profit for the second quarter of 2026 was €69m, compared to an operating profit of €135m in the second quarter of 2025.
