YES Insurance Continuing to Build Strong Momentum Within Irish Travel Trade

YES Insurance has said it is continuing to build strong momentum within the Irish travel trade, with a  growing number of travel agents joining the platform and praising its ease of use, competitive pricing and straightforward customer journey.

Early feedback from agents has been extremely positive.

One travel consultant recently commented: "I just issued a policy. Honestly, it's a lovely site to use. The pricing compared to what we would normally sell is really good."

Another agent added: "Very easy system."

Karen Maloney, Head of Business Development – Irish Travel Trade at YES Insurance, said: "I'd like to sincerely thank the travel agents who have placed their trust in YES Insurance as we continue to grow our travel trade proposition. The response has been fantastic, and we're committed to continuing to invest in products and technology that help agents save time, grow revenue and deliver an excellent customer experience."

Making Medical Screening Easier

YES Insurance has introduced a flexible medical screening process, giving agents multiple ways to support customers with pre-existing medical conditions.

Agents can complete the screening with the customer, send a secure link for completion in-store or at home, or direct customers to the dedicated medical screening team.

Where applicable, agents earn fees per person screened in-store creating an additional revenue opportunity while helping more customers obtain suitable travel insurance.

"Medical screening doesn't have to be complicated," said Ms Maloney. "We've designed the process to be as simple and flexible as possible, helping agents look after their customers while creating an additional source of revenue."

Faster Quotes with Simplified Age Bands

To make quoting even quicker, YES Insurance has introduced a simplified quotation process that removes the need to enter every traveller's age or date of birth at the initial quote stage.

Instead, agents simply select the number of travellers within each age band, allowing quotes to be produced in seconds and reducing time spent gathering customer information.

"Every minute counts in a busy travel agency," Ms Maloney added. "By simplifying the quotation process, we've reduced administration and made it quicker for agents to provide customers with a competitive quote."

Remember YES Insurance has an upper age limit of 89 years. For Annual policies, travellers up to the age of 65yrs on an ULTRA policy may take single trips up to 65 days.

As YES Insurance continues to expand its travel trade partnerships across Ireland, the company remains focused on delivering practical solutions that help travel agents increase efficiency, improve customer service and grow their insurance sales.
