VIVA Cruises introduces 2027 programme featuring new ships and itineraries

The launch of the 2027 programme is the most comprehensive launch in VIVA Cruises’ history, featuring new destinations and extended sailing periods. One of the standout moments will be the christening and launch of VIVA UNIQUE in Venice to join VIVA BEYOND in the new VIVA Boutique premium offering.

VIVA Cruises is one of the few river cruise lines to operate the full year. VIVA ONE, VIVA TWO, VIVA ENJOY and VIVA BEYOND will begin their sailings in January. February will see the start of cruises on VIVA TIARA and VIVA RUBY, while VIVA MOMENTS and PORTO MIRANTE will launch in March. The fleet will be completed in May with the introduction of VIVA UNIQUE.

New itineraries

VIVA Cruises’ 2027 programme introduces a range of exciting new itineraries, including routes such as Basel–Brussels, Dresden–Prague and Amsterdam–Nuremberg. The company has also expanded departures on some of its most popular routes, notably Amsterdam–Budapest, offering guests even more flexibility and choice.

There will also be a full season with 32 departures on the Douro River onboard the extremely popular PORTO MIRANTE, which in 2027 will become a full member of the VIVA Cruises fleet. Guests can also look forward to 3-night “City Stay” cruises in both Paris and Venice.

VIVA Cruises fleet includes the following ships: VIVA TIARA, VIVA MOMENTS, VIVA ONE, VIVA TWO, VIVA ENJOY, VIVA RUBY, PORTO MIRANTE, and the soon-to-be-christened VIVA BEYOND and VIVA UNIQUE.

Fleet deployment overview

Each ship in the VIVA Cruises fleet is carefully deployed to maximise guest experiences across Europe’s iconic waterways. VIVA TIARA will operate on the Rhine, Main, Moselle, Danube, and various canals and tributaries, while VIVA MOMENTS will focus on the Rhine, Moselle. VIVA ONE will serve the Rhine, Main and Moselle, and VIVA TWO will cover both the Rhine and Danube.

VIVA ENJOY is dedicated to the Danube and the Rhine, PORTO MIRANTE is set for the Douro, and VIVA RUBY—the smallest vessel of the fleet with just 80 beds—will traverse the Rhine, Elbe, Spree, various canals and tributaries, and even the Baltic Sea.

The new VIVA Boutique product line features elegant boutique ships with mostly suites, fewer guests, and an even more refined culinary experience. VIVA BEYOND will cruise the Seine, while VIVA UNIQUE will explore the Po River and Venetian Lagoon, offering a premium experience distinct from the rest of the fleet.
