For the 12th year running, Visit Qatar is set to participate in World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026, taking place from 3–5 November 2026 at ExCeL London, where it will showcase Qatar’s expanding tourism offering to international travel trade professionals, buyers and media.

Leading a delegation of 40 partners, including hotels, resorts, destination management companies and tourism organisations including Qatar Airways, Visit Qatar will present Qatar’s diverse tourism ecosystem from its dedicated pavilion at Stand S8 - 210. The pavillion will bring together the destination’s cultural heritage, contemporary experiences, hospitality, attractions and events, alongside opportunities for international partners to connect and explore new business opportunities.

The Qatar Pavillion

The two-floor, 700sq metre Qatar Pavillion will offer visitors an immersive introduction to the destination through a combination of visual content, sound and interactive storytelling, showcasing Qatar’s landmarks, natural landscapes, heritage and cultural experiences.

The pavillion will also feature a range of cultural and experiential activations, including traditional sword craftsmanship, Arabic calligraphy and pearl-making, alongside a Qatar F1 experience, interactive photo booth, Qatar Calendar and Hayya. Visitors will also be able to experience traditional Qatari hospitality through Arabic coffee, dates, Arabic sweets and date ice cream.

A Varied Calendar of Events

A key focus will be the recently launched Qatar Calendar 2026–2027, which features more than 560 events across sport, entertainment, culture, food and family experiences, involving nearly 780 stakeholders. The programme includes major international occasions such as the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026, MotoGP, the Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final, Doha Marathon, Qatar TotalEnergies Open, Art Basel Qatar and the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027. Formula 1 will also return to Lusail for the Qatar Grand Prix in November 2027.

The calendar extends beyond major sporting events, with concerts, festivals, culinary experiences and cultural programming offering visitors a broader choice of experiences during their stay. Among the entertainment highlights are performances by international artists and events including the Qatar International Food Festival and Art Basel Qatar.

Expanding Qatar’s Tourism Offering

The breadth of the programme comes as Qatar continues to record strong tourism demand. The country welcomed 5.1 million international visitors in 2025, up 3.7% year-on-year, while hotel occupancy exceeded 71% and approximately 10.8 million room nights were sold, amounting to QAR8.3bn in accommodation revenue, an increase of 12% year on year.

Alongside visitor growth, Qatar is continuing to develop the infrastructure and services supporting the tourism sector. The Visit Qatar app recorded more than 230,000 users in 2026, compared with approximately 105,000 in 2025, while a unified digital ticketing platform is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Through its presence at WTM London, Visit Qatar will highlight opportunities for international travel partners to engage with a destination offering a combination of culture, leisure, luxury, family experiences, sport, entertainment and business events.

Visit Qatar’s participation in WTM London 2026 reinforces its commitment to developing Qatar as a compelling year-round destination and strengthening its connections with international tourism markets.
