TUI Blue Appoints Louise Bates as Managing Director

TUI Blue has appointed Louise Bates managing director, succeeding Artur Gerber.

Mr Gerber - who has been with TUI Group since 2015 - is leaving the group at his own request to follow new projects, but will remain closely associated with TUI in an advisory capacity.

Ms Bates was previously director of brand and products at TUI Hotels & Resorts.

Marco Ciomperlik, Chief Operating Officer at TUI, said: “Artur Gerber has played a decisive role in shaping the development of our hotel business over recent years. With TUI Blue, he has built a strong international hotel brand and been instrumental in driving its expansion. Our luxury brand, The Mora, also bears his hallmark.
