TTR Roadshow 2026 Wraps Up with Majestic Night in Cork
The final night of the 2026 TTR Roadshow took place last night in the Imperial Hotel in Cork, after a great turnout in both Dublin and Limerick.
A delicious dinner buffet and drinks reception awaited agents and suppliers inside the breathtaking event space of the Imperial, before the beginning of the well anticipated speed-networking and prize raffle.
Suppliers in attendance spent another fantastic evening informing agents from around Ireland about their products and services, while answering any questions they had. All those present were of a similar opinion, that it would be nearly impossible to meet over twenty different agents in one night in any other environment. After yet another successful Roadshow, it was evident that the event's success was due to the care and attention to detail that both Michael Collins, Founder and Managing Director of TravelMedia, and Colm McDonnell, PR Manager and Account Executive, showed throughout.
Even more fantastic prizes were won for the final night!
Mary O’Sullivan from Bantry Travel left with a bottle of prosecco from Trust Payments, while Lucy Groggin from Lee Travel won a goodie bag from Eva Air, and Denise Kirby from Douglas Travel won a prize from Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. Daniel Scholl from Trailfinders was the winner of a Gold Medal goodie bag, which included a €50 voucher, and Rachel Crowley from Magic Vacations left with a €100 one4all voucher from Thai Airways International. Made had theatre tokens up for grabs, which were won by Kerry McCarthy from Lee Travel, while Nicolle O’Donovan from Trailfinders left with a THB Hotels voucher, and Dolores Murphy from Sunway with a CV Villas voucher. Susan Fehilly from Barter’s Travelnet won the combined prize from both Africa Adventure Vacations and Jungle Dwellers, which include an $800 gorilla trekking permit and a one day excursion to Nairobi National Park. BWH Hotels also had a generous prize up for grabs, which was won by Paul Dawson from Dawson Travel, as well as Zafiro Hotels which was won by Mary Coughlan from InteleTravel. Seaside Collection and Aequora Hotels offered amazing hotel stays as prizes, won by Judy Coughlan from Dawson Travel and Joanne Hyde from InteleTravel. Roisin Moynihan from InteleTravel won a prize presented by the Catalan Tourist Board, and finally, James Murphy from Trailfinders was winner of the night’s top prize donated generously by Air Transit, which included return flights from Dublin to Toronto, a hotel stay at Niagara Falls and attraction passes.
The evening ended a little differently compared to the previous two, as the group sang happy birthday to Susan Fehilly once prizes were handed out. To top the event off, a table of Kerry Gold butter, Brennan’s bread and Tayto crisps was brought out, so the Irish agents could show the suppliers from all over the world how to make a real Irish delicacy - a Tayto crisp sandwich!
Both agents and suppliers expressed immense gratitude towards the TTR team for organising yet another fantastic Roadshow. An event that not only connects agents and suppliers within the travel industry, but also creates a space for them to share their expertise with one another, something that is necessary for the industry to grow and evolve.
