TTR Roadshow 2026 Kicks Off with Epic Night at Dublin's Gresham Hotel
ITTN’s Saoirse Cross Smith has joined the 2026 TTR Roadshow, for a fantastic few days of networking and building professional connections.
The first stop of the show took place last night at the Gresham Hotel, in Dublin city centre. Kicking off with a cocktail reception and buffet dinner, agents and industry representatives could break the ice, before a wonderful night of speed-networking and prize-winning.
There were a huge variety of suppliers present at the event, ranging from tourism boards to airlines. The speed-networking process gave agents the chance to speak to representatives from each, including some well-known and highly renowned hotels and hotel chains. Agents could ask as many questions as they pleased within the ten minutes they were given at each table, while representatives could share key updates and information on their latest products. It was a great opportunity for agents to familiarise themselves with suppliers they may not have been exposed to otherwise.
These suppliers joined from all over the world, including Boniface Karanja, founder of Jungle Dwellers, who travelled all the way from Kenya! For some suppliers, such as Gold Medal and Ruby Hotels, it was their first time attending the TTR Roadshow, while others, such as Barbados and Made, have attended previous years.
Suppliers were extremely generous, as many lucky agents walked away with amazing raffle prizes!
Deirdre Shahzad from Inteletravel left with a prize from Trust Payments, while Sean McCarthy from Club Travel won a goodie bag from Eva Air, and Róisín Carbery from Tropical Sky won a prize from Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. Norma Farrell from Inteletravel was the lucky winner of the Gold Medal prize, and Paula Cross from FROSCH Ireland left with a €100 one4all voucher from Thai Airways International. Theatre tickets were kindly donated by Made, which were won by Elizabeth Mottus from Click&Go, while Natasha Staines Lawson from Cassidy Travel left with a THB Hotels voucher, and Eva Pla Fabregas from Follow The Camino with a CV Villas voucher.
Nicola Fields from TUI won a combined prize from both Africa Adventure Vacations and Jungle Dwellers. BWH Hotels also had a great prize up for grabs, which was won by Rachel Madill from Holiday Experts, as well as Zafiro Hotels which was brought home by Liva Plaude.
Seaside Collection and Aequora Hotels offered amazing hotel stays as raffle prizes, won by Eileen Whelan from Travel Cheaper and Jenny Barnwell from Best4Travel. Shelly Heaney from Best4Travel went home with a prize presented by the Catalan Tourist Board, and finally, Shay Browne from Killiney Travel was winner of the nights top prize donated by Air Transit, which included return flights from Dublin to Toronto, a hotel stay at Niagara Falls and attraction passes.
The TTR Roadshow will continue onto their second event today at the Limerick Strand Hotel, before finishing up on Thursday evening with their last event in the Cork Imperial. Both events will follow a similar timetable as Dublin, starting with a cocktail reception and buffet dinner at 5:30pm, speed-networking at 6:30pm and ending with a prize draw at 9pm, giving even more agents the chance to win some unbelievable prizes!
