TTC Tour Brands Unveils a ‘New Era’ for Trafalgar in Dublin

The Travel Corporation (TTC) Tour Brands visited Dublin last week to introduce their new era to the Irish travel trade. A series of trade partner meetings took place over several days, including an exclusive drinks reception for Trailfinders at Dublin’s Café en Seine, a managers and key staff lunch for Cassidy Travel at Hawksmoor restaurant, and a concluding exclusive partners' lunch at The Ivy Asia. It was a busy few days for Kelly Jackson, Managing Director EMEA TTC Tour Brands, and Zoe Walsh, Business Development Executive, during which the dynamic duo reiterated their commitment to the Irish travel trade.

The main focus of the week was introducing the "New Era" of Trafalgar and giving trade partners the chance to hear directly about what this next chapter means for the company. At the heart of this new era is a fresh way of positioning Trafalgar, bringing three distinct value tiers together under a single brand. The concept aims to give travellers more choice while making it easier for travel agents to find the right Trafalgar experience for each customer.

The three tiers comprise Trafalgar Saver, Trafalgar Classic, and Trafalgar Premium, giving travellers the option to choose the style of holiday and level of inclusions that best suit their needs. Trafalgar Saver takes a value-led approach, offering a more accessible way to experience the brand while still benefiting from core Trafalgar services. Trafalgar Classic delivers the traditional, well-loved Trafalgar experience that customers already know. Trafalgar Premium offers an elevated experience for those looking to gain something extra from their trip.

Bringing these three tiers under one brand allows Trafalgar to cater to a much wider range of travellers without losing the identity and expertise built over the years. It also gives agents more flexibility when speaking to customers, whether they are looking for great value, a traditional itinerary, or a more premium option. The new era aims to keep Trafalgar relevant to contemporary travel preferences. The company provides travellers with the opportunity to experience destinations authentically through carefully planned itineraries, local knowledge, and signature experiences like "Be My Guest." This allows holidaymakers to see more of the places they visit through unique encounters, while eliminating much of the stress that comes with planning a multi-destination holiday independently.

For the Irish trade, the week provided an excellent opportunity to hear about these updates directly from Kelly Jackson and to discuss how the new offering can work for their specific customers. Partners showed a genuine interest in the three-tier approach, particularly regarding the increased flexibility it offers when matching clients with the right holiday type. The overall response from trade partners was a standout feature of the week, characterised by real excitement to support the new launch and numerous discussions on how to introduce Trafalgar to a broader customer base.

A significant portion of the week was dedicated to the time Kelly Jackson spent with partners. She sat down with attendees to listen to their thoughts and engage in meaningful conversations about their businesses and the wider Irish market. This approach was highly appreciated by partners and lent a personal feel to the week's events.

Overall, it was a highly successful few days for TTC and Trafalgar in Ireland. There is a strong sense of momentum surrounding the new era, and with three tiers now sitting under the Trafalgar name, the company is well-positioned to reach entirely different segments of the travel market.
