Portugal 'Unites' with Destination Presentation in Dublin

The Portugal United product and destination presentation - in Dublin this week - brought together leading Portuguese tourism partners for an inspiring evening dedicated to promoting Portugal’s meetings industry, luxury travel experiences, and unspoiled destinations.

Guests were welcomed by Nuno França of INTOTRAVEL DMC Portugal, Vasco Santos of Lutécia & Grace Smart Design Hotels, Helder Silva of Cristal Hotels, Mariana Rocha of AP Hotels & Resorts, Vitor Lourenço of The Editory Collection Hotels, Miguel Cymbron of VIP Hotels, and Ricardo Dinis of TAP Air Portugal.
The presentations took attendees on a journey of discovery across Portugal. Nuno França highlighted INTOTRAVEL’s extensive reach throughout mainland Portugal, Madeira and the Azores, with bespoke programmes tailored to incentives, meetings, conferences and group travel. Miguel Cymbron showcased the excellent quality and value offered by VIP Hotels, emphasising their prime locations for both MICE and leisure travellers.

Mariana Rocha presented the diverse AP Hotels & Resorts portfolio, including exceptional resort properties in stunning locations and an adults-only all-inclusive offering. Helder Silva expanded the destination appeal with Cristal Hotels’ growing presence, including three distinctive properties in the Leiria district that combine local arts and crafts, contemporary design and comfort.
Vitor Lourenço delivered a passionate introduction to Viana do Castelo, presenting a collection of hotels with a strong focus on design and sustainability. The final presentation was delivered by Ricardo Dinis of TAP Air Portugal, who highlighted the comfort, quality and connectivity of the airline’s services to Lisbon and onwards to destinations across the Americas.

The evening also featured two prize draws. Anne Marie Durkin of InteleTravel won return flights to Portugal, two nights’ accommodation with VIP Hotels and two nights at Cristal Hotels. Francesca Rizzarello of Travel Department received the second prize, consisting of two nights’ accommodation at Lutécia & Grace Smart Design Hotels, AP Hotels & Resorts and The Editory Collection Hotels, for a total of six nights, together with airport transfers provided by INTOTRAVEL DMC Portugal.
The event concluded with a cocktail dinatoire, providing further opportunities for networking and strengthening relationships between Portuguese suppliers and the Irish travel trade.
