Nômade Temple: A Sanctuary of Wellbeing in Ibiza

Ibiza is no stranger to the wellness movement, but the new opening of Nômade Temple in the north of the island is determined to show visitors a very different side of Ibiza’s synonymous party scene. Nômade Temple is already an established name in the world of luxury, with roots in Tulum, and is opening in Madrid and Ibiza in 2026.
Away from the Super clubs, late-night beach parties and hedonistic party vibe, for which the island is best known, Nômade Temple has arrived in Portinatx with a more soulful proposition: a place to slow down, reconnect and experience Ibiza through wellness, nature, music and community.

Set in the unspoilt north of the island, surrounded by pine forests, rugged coastline and picturesque coves, Nômade Temple is deliberately removed from the party vibe of Ibiza’s better-known southern resorts. The hotel describes its setting as a place where “the light feels softer, the colours more natural, and the energy more grounded.”
But this is far from a traditional wellness retreat. Born from the Nômade concept in Tulum, Mexico, Nômade Temple combines luxury hospitality with holistic wellbeing, gastronomy, music and cultural programming. As the brand explains: “Nômade Temple is not a traditional hotel, but a space designed for gathering, connection, and transformation.”

Guests can start the day with yoga, meditation, breathwork or movement before moving towards the sea, dining together or taking part in creative and cultural experiences. Wellness here is not presented as a pursuit of perfection, but something that can coexist with pleasure and celebration. Nômade calls this philosophy “joyful healing”, bringing together movement, music, meditation and shared experiences.
At the heart of the property is the Temple itself, one of its most distinctive architectural spaces. Inspired by "the surreal geometry of M.C. Escher", the structure plays with stairs, light and perspective, turning the journey through the building into an experience in itself. It is designed to "host yoga, meditation and conscious movement alongside immersive events and celebrations". Luxury here is not simply an afterthought; the rooms and surroundings are carefully and aesthetically thought out.

Then there is Gön House of Healing, the property’s spa, tucked into the rocks and inspired by Ibiza’s natural caves. Water therapy is central to the experience, with a water circuit and treatment rooms creating a sanctuary designed around relaxation and restoration.
Yet Nômade Temple is not attempting to separate wellness from Ibiza’s legendary social scene. Instead, it wants to blend the relationship between the two. Music remains an important part of the concept, with live performances, artist residencies, cultural gatherings and carefully curated events forming part of the daily programme. The result is a hotel where a morning meditation can eventually give way to music, dinner and dancing.

That balance is perhaps what makes the concept particularly suited to Ibiza. Nômade describes its mission as creating “Temples where people can meet to celebrate life and empower themselves emotionally through deep, genuine connections.”
And that is ultimately the appeal of Nômade Temple. It isn’t asking visitors to choose between Ibiza’s two personalities, the wellness and the hedonistic. Instead, it brings them together. Here, a swim in a secluded cove, a breathwork session and a long lunch can sit comfortably alongside music, cocktails and dancing beneath the stars.

In a destination that has spent decades perfecting the art of the party, Nômade Temple offers something increasingly coveted: the chance to experience Ibiza at a slower, more conscious pace, without losing any of its magic.
