Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has officially unveiled details of its newest and largest ship to date, Norwegian Aura, ahead of her inaugural voyage in May 2027.

As the evolution of NCL's Prima Plus Class continues, Norwegian Aura introduces several major brand firsts across wellness, dining, and onboard entertainment:

●        The Industry's Most Expansive Thermal Suite: Spanning two decks within the Rockwell Group designed Mandara Spa, featuring 15 wellness amenities. Highlights include the cruise line's first Sensory Rain Pool (a 360-degree immersive storm experience), a Snow Cave, a Blue Glow suite for post-travel recovery, and guided hot/cold plunge pools.

●        Tamara (NCL's First Indian Specialty Restaurant): An elevated culinary venue featuring open-view tandoor ovens and North Indian-inspired architecture, serving dishes like Short-Rib Dosa and tableside Green Papaya Salad.

●        The Panorama Room: A reimagined complimentary dining experience using floor-to-ceiling LED displays, multi-channel audio, and dynamic lighting to transport guests through changing landscapes while they dine.

●        Upgraded Fleet Favourites: Expanded seating and refreshed designs for top venues, including Le Bistro, Onda by Scarpetta, Cagney's Steakhouse, and a Penrose Bar & Atrium with more than double its original seating capacity.

●        Ocean Heights  Family Zone: A sprawling outdoor activity hub featuring six slides, an 82-foot ropes course, and NCL's first-ever overhanging cabanas overlooking Vibe Beach Club.

Norwegian Aura sets sail on 21 May 2027 with a seven-day Mediterranean maiden voyage from Trieste to Barcelona before repositioning to Miami for Caribbean itineraries.

“Norwegian Aura is all about giving guests more of what they love, with spaces and experiences that make vacation feel even easier,” said Gary Anslow, Vice President UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa .

“From Tamara, our new Indian specialty restaurant, which expands the already guest-favourite eatery in Indulge to an elevated culinary offering; to The Panorama Room's immersive dining experience and our most expansive Thermal Suite to date, every addition has been purposefully designed to give guests more freedom, choice and opportunities to relax, recharge and enjoy their vacation their way, without compromise.”
