Ahead of its official grand opening on 4th September 2026, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has today unveiled the very first look at Great Tides Waterpark - a brand new, six-acre adventure zone on its private Bahamian island, Great Stirrup Cay.

Designed for both thrill seekers and families, it brings a host of industry firsts and regional exclusives to the Caribbean.
Key Highlights Include:
● Adrenaline thrills: 19 waterslides, including Breakwater Blasters (the Caribbean's first dueling Master Blaster slides), The Great Slide (the region's only four-person body slide), and Cliffside Cove (home to the Caribbean's tallest cliff jumps, spanning 10 to 15 feet).
● Immersive relaxation: The Wandering River, featuring the industry’s first immersive tunnel float, alongside private cabana rentals and access to the exclusive, adults-only Vibe Shore Club.
● New culinary offerings: Island-inspired venues ranging from slow-smoked barbecue at Low Tide Smoke and fresh seafood at Catch of the Cay to sweet treats at Tidal Treats.
● Swim-up bars: Features like the Floataway Bar (located inside the lazy river) and Grotto Bar, fully integrated into NCL’s popular Free at Sea unlimited beverage package.
Guests can experience the grand opening firsthand during Norwegian Luna’s seven-day Caribbean sailing departing 29th August 2026, with day passes to Great Tides Waterpark available to book now.
