Luxury and Aesthetic Bliss in Marrakech
I had the pleasure of staying in one of the most Instagram-famous riads in Marrakech, Riad Yasmine. This beautiful riad consists of 7 individually designed bedrooms, all meticulously crafted, reflecting unique tile work, plush furnishings and a colour palette synonymous with Moroccan culture and aesthetic.

From the moment you step into Riad Yasmine, you feel like you’ve stepped into a movie set. The vibrant colours of the emerald pool are breathtaking, and you can see why it's so photographed; it’s the most Instagrammable place and was featured in Grazia Magazine.
The owners, Alice and Gabriel, were wonderful from the initial enquiry, right to the very end; they were incredibly attentive, ensuring every aspect of our visit was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and as a self-proclaimed perfectionist and worrier, they were fantastic at putting me at ease that all was taken care of. They have poured their heart and soul into this Riad, and you can tell; it feels both intimate and luxurious, the perfect blend. Each room has a unique vibe, and no room is the same, from different colour tiles, rugs and overall theme, but each one is exquisite.

On our first night, I had requested a private dinner in the Riad, all organised by Gabriel and Alice; the dining experience was magical. We feasted on a traditional Moroccan 3-course meal of various tagines with wine and beer. Every detail was just perfect, from the lighting to the table setting, but of course I’d expect nothing less from Alice and Gabriel and their impeccable taste. A Riad is unlike a hotel when it comes to food and beverages; you are given breakfast every morning, but you plan if you require additional meals throughout your stay. We also ordered wine in advance. And given the location, you are surrounded by incredible restaurants, so it was never an issue or inconvenience.
Each Morning we were treated to breakfast on the roof terrace. We enjoyed freshly baked pastries, local fruits, Moroccan teas, all while taking in the breathtaking views. The rooftop became the place for my guests to stretch out and do yoga in the morning before and after breakfast. Despite the Riad being in the centre of the Medina, it is remarkably quiet; it is only when you step outside that you hear the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, which adds to the magic.
Staying at Riad Yasmine was one of the most amazing experiences; it is more than captivating it is an experience with exceptional service, stunning design and just simply enchanting. It’s no wonder that Riad Yasmine is one of the most photographed and picturesque places to stay. It offers an intimate boutique feel of a 5-star hotel, coupled with luxury, an appealing aesthetic and exceptional service, making it a must-visit for anyone wanting to visit Marrakech.
And if you feel that Riad Yasmine is too big for you to hire, they also have a smaller Riad, Check out Le Riad Yasmine – MARRAKECH for more details and prices.
