Luxury All-Inclusive at Its Finest

After spending six unforgettable nights at Ikos Dassia in Corfu, I can confidently say this is one of the finest luxury all-inclusive resorts I have ever experienced.

Travelling from Dublin couldn’t have been easier. With direct flights available from both Aer Lingus and Ryanair, we arrived in Corfu in just four hours. As Corfu is only two hours ahead of Ireland, it makes the perfect short-haul luxury sunshine escape. On arrival, we were greeted by the Ikos team and transferred directly to the resort in approximately 25 minutes, allowing our holiday to begin the moment we landed.

Our Accommodation – Deluxe Collection

For this trip, I stayed in a Two-Bedroom Deluxe Sea View Suite with a private pool. Travelling with my son, the suite provided the perfect combination of space, privacy and comfort, with stunning views across the Ionian Sea.

The Deluxe Collection takes the Ikos experience to another level. From dedicated Deluxe pool and beach areas to enhanced concierge services, every detail is designed to make your stay feel effortless and exclusive.

One of the standout experiences for me was the complimentary golf experience included as part of the Deluxe Collection. The resort arranged everything from transfers and tee times to club hire, golf balls and tees. As a keen golfer, it was a fantastic addition to the holiday and showcased the attention to detail that Ikos is renowned for.

Dining at Ikos Dassia

Dining is undoubtedly one of the resort’s strongest selling points.

Before arriving, I booked all of our restaurant reservations through the Ikos App, which was incredibly simple to use and allowed me to organise our dining experiences in advance.

Throughout our stay, we enjoyed a variety of restaurants, each offering a completely different culinary experience. From contemporary Greek cuisine at Ouzo and elegant Italian dishes at Fresco to Asian fusion at Anaya and modern Corfiot flavours at Kerkyra, every meal felt like dining in a high-end standalone restaurant rather than an all-inclusive resort.

The quality of the food, wine and service was exceptional throughout our stay and exceeded my expectations on every occasion.

A Special Family Memory

One of the most memorable moments of the trip was celebrating my son’s 18th birthday.

Without any prompting, the resort surprised us with a beautiful birthday cake and helped create a truly special occasion. It was one of those thoughtful gestures that leaves a lasting impression and highlights the exceptional level of service offered by the team at Ikos Dassia.

As a parent, finding a luxury resort that genuinely appeals to both adults and older teenagers can sometimes be difficult. Ikos Dassia manages this effortlessly. Whether it’s the sports facilities, beautiful pools, watersports, dining experiences or simply relaxing together in a stunning setting, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Activities and Facilities

There is an impressive range of activities available throughout the resort.

During my stay, I particularly enjoyed the tennis facilities and spending time exploring the beautifully maintained grounds. Guests can also enjoy watersports, cycling, fitness facilities, multiple swimming pools, a private beach, evening entertainment and a luxurious spa.

The beauty of Ikos Dassia is that you can be as active or as relaxed as you choose. Whether your ideal holiday involves a packed itinerary or simply lounging by the pool with a good book, the resort caters effortlessly to both.

Perfect for Families and Adults Alike

One of the things that impressed me most about Ikos Dassia was its ability to cater equally well to families and couples.

For families, the resort offers excellent Kids Clubs and Teen Clubs, providing supervised activities and entertainment throughout the day. Younger guests can enjoy sports coaching, watersports, arts and crafts, playgrounds and organised activities, while teenagers have dedicated spaces and social programmes designed specifically for their age group.

At the same time, the resort never feels overly family-focused.

Adults looking for peace and relaxation can enjoy dedicated adults-only areas, including exclusive pools and sections of the beach. Whether you’re enjoying a spa treatment, a leisurely lunch overlooking the sea or a quiet afternoon by the pool, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy a more tranquil experience.

This balance is one of the reasons I believe Ikos Dassia appeals to such a broad range of travellers. It works equally well for couples seeking a romantic getaway, families with young children, multi-generational family holidays, groups of friends and active travellers looking for recreation and adventure.

Exploring Corfu

While it would be easy to spend your entire holiday within the resort, I would highly recommend taking advantage of the complimentary transfer service into Corfu Town.

Corfu Town is one of the most charming destinations in Greece, filled with beautiful architecture, cobbled streets, cafés, boutiques and fascinating history. Having the opportunity to explore the island beyond the resort adds another dimension to the holiday experience.

Service That Sets the Standard

Exceptional service can make or break a luxury holiday, and this is where Ikos Dassia truly excels.

From the moment we arrived until the day we departed, every member of staff delivered warm, genuine and professional hospitality. The Deluxe concierge team handled every request seamlessly, ensuring that restaurant reservations, activities and special occasions were organised effortlessly.

Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and it was this attention to detail that elevated the entire experience.

My Highlights

There were many memorable moments throughout my stay, but a few experiences stood out in particular.

Our Deluxe Two-Bedroom Sea View Suite with private pool was exceptional and offered the perfect balance of luxury, comfort and privacy. The dining experiences were consistently outstanding, with every restaurant delivering a level of quality that exceeded expectations.

As a keen golfer, I particularly appreciated the complimentary golf experience, which was organised flawlessly by the resort team. A truly special memory was the thoughtful 18th birthday celebration arranged for my son, a gesture that perfectly demonstrated the care and attention to detail that makes Ikos Dassia so special.

Combined with the beautiful beachfront setting, complimentary transfers into Corfu Town and exceptional service throughout our stay, these experiences made this one of the most enjoyable luxury holidays I have taken in recent years.

Ikos Dassia has mastered the art of luxury all-inclusive travel.

Combining exceptional accommodation, world-class dining, premium drinks, outstanding facilities and genuinely personalised service, it delivers a holiday experience that exceeds expectations at every turn.

Whether you are travelling as a couple, with family, celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a luxurious Mediterranean escape, I cannot recommend Ikos Dassia highly enough.
