Jet2 Announces New Belfast to Bulgaria Route for Summer 2028

UK low cost airline Jet2 has announced a new Belfast to Bulgaria route for summer 2028.

The new route will link Belfast International Airport to Burgas, on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, and will run as a once weekly service on Wednesdays.

The new route forms part of Jet2's early release of its summer 2028 schedules from its 14 bases across the Britain and Northern Ireland, which has happened due to massive forward-planning demand from holidaymakers.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2, said: “We are already hearing from customers asking when they can book their holidays for Summer 2028, so we have responded by putting an exciting programme on sale nice and early. We know our customers work hard for their well-deserved holidays and this exciting announcement really gives them something to look forward to.”

In all, Jet2 will now have 21 destinations on sale from Belfast International - spanning Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Bulgaria, Greece, Mallorca, Malta, Italy, Canary Islands, and Türkiye.
