ITTN Talks to Aegean Airlines’ Key Account Manager for Ireland, Tori O’Mahoney

ITTN's Sharon Jordan sat down with Tori O’Mahoney, Aegean Airlines’ Key Account Manager for Ireland, to discuss the airline’s support for travel agents, its onboard service and its network from Dublin via Athens.
O’Mahoney said direct support for travel agents is a key reason to book with Aegean. She highlights specialist fares for Irish agencies, which can include extended ticketing deadlines and discounts on selected published fares. Agents can also use Aegean Hub for services such as name changes and access to agent discount fares. O’Mahoney said confirmed agent fares are available in both business and economy class, subject to the airline’s terms and pointed to the value included in Aegean’s fares. Depending on the fare, this can include baggage and seat selection, while onboard service features meals and drinks. O’Mahoney said that when travellers add extras to a low-cost fare, the total price can compare favourably with that of a scheduled full-service airline.
