ITAA and Positive2Work Skillnet Celebrate Travel Industry Graduates
Graduates of the Leadership Excellence in the Travel Industry programme received their certificates at a graduation ceremony at Dublin’s Merrion Hotel. Positive2Work Skillnet, in association with the Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) and industry experts, established the programme to develop leaders in the travel industry.

The Leadership Excellence in the Travel Industry programme focuses on developing essential industry-specific skills in leadership, finance, responsible travel, digitalisation, and the use of AI as a business tool.
Presenting the graduates with their certificates, ITAA President Tom Randles said, “The feedback from both participants and employers on the Leadership Excellence in the Travel Industry programme has been overwhelmingly positive. We are incredibly proud of this fourth cohort of graduates and the dedication and commitment they have demonstrated over the past two months. Their achievements reflect the talent, ambition and potential of the next generation of leaders in our industry. We look forward to seeing how they apply their learning, bring fresh perspectives to their roles and contribute to the continued growth of the travel sector. The ITAA is delighted to champion initiatives such as this, which invest in people and help build a strong and sustainable future for our industry.”
Gráinne O’Boyle, Director of Positive2Work Skillnet, said, “Positive2Work Skillnet warmly congratulates all participants on their achievements and commends the ITAA executive for their commitment to delivering this programme. Supporting businesses through high-quality, industry-relevant training that develops skills, builds capability and empowers the workforce is central to our mission.
