Onboard Experience

• Holland America is proud to be the first and only cruise line partner of the professional pickleball association. Onboard guests can find complimentary pickleball courts & lessons, top of the line equipment, tutorials and more

• In December 2025, Holland America Line celebrated the grand opening of four pickleball courts that were added to Relax Away, Half Moon Cay, the cruise line’s private island in the Bahamas. The new courts are part of an island enhancement

that also includes refurbished amenities and new experiences throughout the pristine oasis.

• Guests can expect a lively onboard atmosphere with hands-on classes, cooking demonstrations, tastings, game shows and themed parties.

• Travel Guides will offer destination talks on the World Stage, hosting Q&A sessions and providing insights for each port.

• At Holland America, our Dutch Heritage is showcased throughout the ship. On every cruise (in every destination), guests can take part in our Royal Dutch Tea, featuring Dutch snacks and treats. In Honour of The Netherlands annual ‘Kings Day’ celebration, our ships will host a special Dutch dinner in the main dining room. Plus once per cruise, Guests will be invited to an Orange Party in honour of the Netherlands Royal family – the house of orange! This festive event features live entertainment, speciality cocktails, and guests wear their best orange outfits.
