GoTürkiye Destination Promotion Event Attracts Huge Dublin Trade Turn Out

ITTNs Sharon Jordan met with multiple suppliers from Türkiye yesterday at Anatara The Marker Hotel in Dublin, as a guest of The Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) and the Office of the Counsellor, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, who organised the event. 

The event kicked off with opening remarks from the Turkish Ambassador to Ireland, Mrs. Esra Cankorur followed by presentations from Ms. Eda Çağlayan, Country Marketing Group Manager at TGA, and Mr. Kadir Serdar Gezgin from the Turkish Tourism Board London office. And it delivered a phenomenal turnout from the local and national travel trade on a Monday night, creating a buzzing atmosphere in the room as professionals came out in force to show their strong support for the diverse and vibrant destination. 

The Turkish Airlines team in attendance to welcome guests and facilitate connections included Ebuzer Tanhan (General Manager), Buğra Erarslan (Sales Manager), Sumeyya Ay (Sales Manager), Miray Maksudoğlu (Corporate Sales Manager), and industry favourite Onur Gül (Senior Marketing Executive).

A key highlight of the evening was the opportunity for Irish trade professionals to network directly with prominent Destination Management Companies (DMCs) and travel agencies flying in from Türkiye to host the evening.
