Families Urged to Check Child Travel Insurance Cover Ahead of Mid-Term Break
With families preparing for the mid-term break, new figures show that two-thirds (65%) of Irish holidaymakers agree that travel helps them connect with family.

However, while over half (52%) of people plan to holiday with close family members, just 17% check whether children can be included on their travel insurance policy when buying cover.
The figures from Multitrip.com highlight the importance of making sure everyone is covered before going on holiday.
For parents, family travel insurance can provide cover for them and their kids, helping to avoid an unwelcome surprise if something goes wrong.
Jason Whelan, MD of Multitrip.com, said: “Family holidays are a great opportunity to spend quality time together and create memories, but there is also a lot to think about when travelling with children. With many families now planning their mid-term getaways, taking a little time to prepare can make the experience much easier.
“At Multitrip.com, kids go free on Annual Family Premier Plus policies, helping parents make sure everyone has the cover they need when away. Also, with our 24/7 online GP service, parents get extra peace of mind and support at any time”
