Explora Journeys Announces First 'President's Journey' Aboard 'EXPLORA II'

Explora Journeys has announced its first President’s Journey, hosted by President Anna Nash aboard EXPLORA II from 9 to 16 December 2026.

Designed by Ms Nash, herself, the Journey brings together returning and first-time guests for a distinctive experience focused on connection, conversation and the Ocean State of Mind.

Set within Explora Journeys’ A Serene Mediterranean Winter 2026–2027 Journeys Collection, the President’s Journey offers a more personal perspective on ocean travel. Moments onboard and ashore reflect Anna’s unique outlook, shaped by more than two decades of experience in the luxury travel industry.

“For me, hospitality begins with listening. It is about taking the time to understand what guests value, what inspires them and what they would like their future Journeys with us to look like,” said Anna Nash. “This is my first President’s Journey, and I am genuinely looking forward to having this time with our guests – to talk, to listen and to hear their perspectives first-hand. My career has largely been shaped outside the cruise industry, which gives me a different perspective on the guest experience and on what luxury hospitality at sea can be. Ultimately, it is these conversations, and the time we spend with our guests, that help us continue to evolve Explora Journeys.”

Personal perspectives

Throughout the Journey, guests will have opportunities to connect with Anna informally, whether on morning walks or at intimate dinners. The Journey also creates space for dialogue. Through focused conversations with Anna and members of the Explora Journeys leadership team, guests will be invited to share their perspectives on the experiences that matter to them.

Listening is central to how Explora Journeys continues to evolve. These conversations will offer guests a closer look at the people and ideas guiding the brand forward, while providing an opportunity for Explora Journeys’ leadership to hear firsthand what matters most to guests today.

Exclusive experiences

In Gibraltar, a destination experience created especially for the President’s Journey offers privileged access to some of the territory’s most significant historic landmarks. Following a scenic drive through Gibraltar and an exploration of its famous World War II tunnels, guests will visit The Convent, the historic official residence of the Governor of Gibraltar.

The Journey continues to Casablanca, where an overnight stay gives guests the opportunity to experience the city at a more leisurely pace. During the evening, a signature complimentary Destination Experience at the renowned Royal Mansour Casablanca brings guests together with Anna for an elegant sunset cocktail in an intimate, limited-capacity setting. The following day leaves time for independent exploration of the city.

The enrichment programme throughout the Journey welcomes Lewis Pugh, UN Patron of the Ocean and world-record-holding endurance swimmer, whose extraordinary relationship with the world’s oceans brings a compelling perspective on exploration and conservation. Annabel Croft, former British number one tennis player, leading sports broadcaster and television presenter, shares perspectives shaped by a remarkable career in international sport and broadcasting. Joining them, Matt Barbet, broadcaster and journalist, brings his experience of storytelling and current affairs, while Gail Packer, ocean travel destination expert, offers insight shaped by her extensive experience of the world of ocean travel. Together, the Luminaries bring a rich diversity of perspectives to the Journey’s enrichment programme.

Explora Club Members will receive dedicated recognition and priority access to selected experiences, alongside a programme of limited-capacity events and invitation-only gatherings spanning destination, wellbeing and culinary experiences.

A Serene Mediterranean

The President’s Journey forms part of A Serene Mediterranean, Explora Journeys’ Winter 2026–2027 Journeys Collection, sailing from November 2026 through March 2027.

As the high-summer crowds disperse, the Mediterranean takes on a different rhythm, with softer light, quieter streets and more considered encounters. Across the collection, guests can discover destinations through experiences rooted in local culture, heritage, gastronomy and craftsmanship, from Sicily and Tunisia to the Greek Islands, Iberia and the Atlantic coast.

Alongside the President’s Journey, the collection introduces a broader choice of shorter Journeys, including four- and five-night escapes, offering greater flexibility while preserving the same Ocean State of Mind.
