Chicago Named Best Big City in US for 10th Year in a Row

Chicago has been named Best Big City in the US by Condé Nast Traveler for a record 10th consecutive year, making it the first and only city to hold the title for a decade. 

To mark the milestone, Chicago has proclaimed 10th October “Best Big City Day”, with celebrations taking place across the city. The latest win comes as Chicago’s visitor economy continues to grow, with the city welcoming 56.8 million visitors in 2025 and generating a record $21.5 billion in visitor spending.
