Celebrity to Bring 'Celebrity Beyond' to Southampton in 2028; Marking First European Appearance since 2023

Celebrity Cruises has announced that Celebrity Beyond will sail from Southampton in summer 2028, marking the award-winning Edge Series ship’s return to Europe for the first time since 2023.

Offering seven-to-14-night sailings, guests can explore some of Europe’s most spectacular destinations across Norway, Iceland and Scandinavia.

Beginning in November 2026, Celebrity Beyond will also offer an elevated onboard experience with new venues, including Orange Peele Bar and Grille, Bora and Celebrity Pool Club. You’ll find more detail on these below.

As part of its 2028 deployment, Celebrity Apex will homeport from Amsterdam, Netherlands, providing more guests across Northern Europe with the opportunity to sail on an Edge Series ship and discover the best of Norway, Scandinavia, Spain and Portugal, and the British Isles on seven- to 14-night itineraries. With excellent air, rail and ferry connections into Amsterdam from across the UK and Ireland, the new deployment also offers a convenient and accessible gateway for guests to visit destinations across Europe.

Trade partners will be able to register guests’ interest in Celebrity Cruises’ 2028 Europe season ahead of the official on-sale date of 25 August 2026. Guests who pre-register through their travel agent will be among the first to discover itinerary details and booking information, giving them early access to plan their next unforgettable European holiday. 

With a longer and sleek profile, guests can look forward to the best of Celebrity Cruises’ Edge Series on Celebrity Beyond with more than 30 restaurants, bars, and lounges, offering globally inspired cuisine and the chance to try a new dish at every meal. Guests departing Southampton will be able to experience Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud - Celebrity’s global culinary ambassador and world-renowned chef and visit the World Class Bar which offers handcrafted cocktails and premium spirits made by expert mixologists.  

Plus, beginning in November 2026, a renewed Celebrity Beyond will introduce enhanced outdoor escapes designed to further elevate the Celebrity Cruises experience.

Agents will be able to book a 2028 Celebrity Cruises holiday for their clients direct from Southampton onboard Celebrity Beyond beginning on Tuesday 25^th August.
