British Airways Delays Resumption of Key Middle East Operations

British Airways has announced a number of changes to its Middle East route operations, given the ongoing uncertainty in the region.

These changes include reduced frequencies and delayed route restarts.

The airline now plans to restart its Heathrow to Bahrain service from March 28, 2027 and its Heathrow to Abu Dhabi service from January 10, 2027.

In addition, BA is reducing some short-haul and long-haul route frequencies from this coming winter.

Its London to Tel Aviv service will be reduced from a two flights per day service to a one per day service from October 25; while its Amman service will reduce from a daily flight to a four times a week service from October 26.

On long-haul, BA is reducing frequency on flights to Dubai (down from three to two flights per day from October 25), Doha and Riyadh.
