AWTE Summer Soirée Introduces CV Villas to Irish Travel Trade

ITTN's Sharon Jordan, Zoë Walsh and Lorraine Hales joined travel industry colleagues at the AWTE Summer Soirée, sponsored by CV Villas, in Café en Seine last night for an evening of catchups and celebration.

AWTE Chair Olwen McKinney thanked members, partners and sponsors for their continued support and spoke about the exciting programme of events still to come this year.

Members can look forward to a lunchtime Zoom session with Barbara Scully on 9 September. Olwen also reminded guests to save the date for one of AWTE's biggest social events of the year the AWTE Christmas Party on 17 December which is always a highlight of the association's calendar!!

The event welcomed travel agents and supplier partners from across Ireland. With a fantastic atmosphere throughout the evening, agents enjoyed drinks/food and plenty of conversation while catching up on the latest industry news. One of the highlights of the night was the raffle, with an excellent selection of prizes up for grabs including bottles of wine, luxurious Rituals gift sets and Ticketmaster vouchers!!

The evening was sponsored by CV Villas, which also shared the exciting news of its expansion into the Irish market. Irish travel agents can now book fully financially protected villa holidays thanks to the company's newly approved TOPP policy from the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA), covering both villa-and-flight and villa-and-car packages.
