The new Waterford — A Master Cutter Experience is a bespoke half-day journey that introduces the rich heritage and world-renowned artisanship of the storied glassmaker in unique Anantara The Marker style. Designed for discerning travellers seeking authentic connections with destination and culture, the experience embodies Anantara’s commitment to creating unforgettable, locally-inspired moments.

Begin your experience with a sensory introduction to one of the country’s most celebrated luxury brands, in an intimate whiskey or Champagne tasting. Hosted by the hotel’s award-winning Sommelier and whiskey expert, savour a carefully curated selection of premium spirits or Champagne, each served in handcrafted Waterford crystal, with its weight both in the hand, and in history.

The journey continues with an exclusive private MasterCraft experience with Waterford, a name synonymous with Irish excellence since 1783. Enjoy privileged access to a live crystal-cutting demonstration by a Master Cutter before stepping behind the wheel yourself to experience the precision, artistry and skill required to create these iconic pieces. 

The celebration concludes with an elegant private Afternoon Tea overlooking the city skyline. Showcasing refined local ingredients with contemporary flair, the final element of the experience provides an opportunity to relax, reflect and enjoy one of the city’s most distinctive settings.

The new Anantara 25th anniversary experience includes a bespoke half-day Master Cutter Experience with Waterford, an intimate whiskey or Champagne tasting hosted by the hotel’s award-winning sommelier and whiskey expert, a private Afternoon Tea overlooking the city skyline and is available from €4,500 based on two guests.

A two-night escape in a Suite including the Anantara 25th Anniversary Master Cutter Experience is available from €5,700.
