Air France has become the latest European airline to launch a new direct transatlantic service to Nashville.

The new three times a week service will take off from Paris Charles de Gaulle on May 14, 2027.

As a tribute to Dolly Parton, flights between Paris and Nashville will carry the flight number AF046—a nod to 1946, the year the artist was born.

Deana Ivey, President and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp, commented: “International travel has been an important growth market for Nashville, and we’ve spent nearly a decade building interest in Music City among travellers from France.

"This new nonstop flight from Paris opens the door to even more visitors from across Europe. International travellers are especially valuable to our tourism economy because they tend to stay longer and spend more while they’re here. And we know Nashville has so much of what they’re looking for, from incredible live music and great food to warm hospitality and authentic experiences they can’t find anywhere else.”

It comes after a hugely successful period of tourism for Nashville, following the announcement of non-stop flight routes to Reykjavik, Iceland with Icelandair and Dublin, Ireland with Aer Lingus in 2024.
