Air Canada has announced an earlier than planned start to its Dublin to Vancouver seasonal service in 2027.

The airline is bringing the seasonal service forward by more than one month in 2027, with the first departure from Dublin now scheduled for 31 March, rather than 2 May as originally planned.

The service will initially operate three times a week from 31 March to 2 May, before increasing to four times a week from 3 May onwards, providing Irish travellers with additional opportunities to visit Vancouver and explore British Columbia earlier in the year.

The earlier start will provide greater access to British Columbia towards the end of the region’s ski season, which generally runs through mid to late April, while also offering additional flexibility for travellers planning spring breaks and Easter holidays.

The route will be operated by Air Canada’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, featuring 30 Signature Class seats, 21 Premium Economy seats and 247 Economy Class seats. Customers across all cabins can enjoy complimentary hot meals and full bar service, alongside seatback entertainment.

Families travelling with children aged 13 and under can also benefit from Air Canada’s complimentary family seating, while complimentary kids’ packs and pre-bookable kids’ meals are available for younger travellers.

Through Vancouver, passengers can connect onwards across Air Canada’s extensive North American network,  to destinations across Western Canada and the wider Pacific region, providing convenient access to British Columbia’s cities, mountains and coastline, as well as destinations further afield.
