A Day on the Athens Riviera: The Ultimate Luxury Experience with Caldera Yachting

Our day began with a private pick-up from Caldera Yachting, directly from our Villa straight to the marina, where the wonderful crew were waiting to greet us on arrival. From the moment we stepped onboard, we were made to feel like honoured guests rather than passengers. Warm smiles, a welcome drink, and genuine hospitality set the tone for what would become the highlight of the Greek trip.

Stepping onboard, it was immediately clear that this was no ordinary boat trip. The Yacht was new, beautifully maintained, spacious, with a cabin below that you could use as a changing room. As a group of seven and with three crew members, it was spacious with plenty of room for our group. Whether relaxing on the sun deck, chatting in the shaded seated area or simply lying out on the upper deck admiring the endless horizon, there was never a moment that the yacht felt crowded.

We sailed along the stunning Athens coastline and made stops at secluded coves where we dived off board into the sea, for sea swims and the opportunity to cool off. The beauty of sailing on the yacht is that you don't feel the hot sun like you would at a beach club; instead, you get the breeze of the Mediterranean and the gentle movement of the yacht, creating the ideal atmosphere.

However, luxury is not all about your surroundings; it is also about the service, experience and overall how you feel. Throughout the day, the crew anticipated our every need. Glasses were never empty, with a generous selection of wines, local beer, and soft drinks available throughout the cruise. Every detail was taken care of so we could simply relax, unwind and enjoy every moment together as a group. The other highlight of the trip was the delicious lunch that was freshly prepared and cooked onboard. There were fresh Greek salads, stuffed vine leaves, rice, BBQ chicken, seafood and sausages, more than enough for our whole group. Dining while anchored in a peaceful bay, under the Greek sun, surrounded by friends is an experience I will treasure. After lunch, it was time for a quick sea dip before we made our leisurely way back to Athens.
